Download Windows 7
If you want to install Windows 7 on your PC, you can buy it on the Microsoft website and download it directly to your computer. Downloading Windows 7 might be the best option if you own a netbook or other PC that doesn’t have an internal DVD drive.
Before you download Windows 7
- Make sure your PC can run Windows 7. Review the system requirements, and then go to the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor webpage.
- Learn about software downloads at the Microsoft Store.
